In short
For the September 2027 intake, the Études en France campaign has been open since 1 October 2026. Deadlines depend on the country of residence and the programme. In the countries of this calendar, the first fall on 15 November 2026, the national deadline for the prior admission application (first year of licence) is 15 December 2026, and the last run until 31 January 2027. All the dates below were checked on 23 October 2026 on the official websites (Campus France offices, the Ministry of Higher Education, Parcoursup).

Which dates apply to every country?
| Date | Step |
|---|---|
| 1 October 2026 | Opening of the Études en France campaign for the 2027 intake, on the platform's new interface |
| 15 December 2026 | National deadline for the DAP (first year of licence) and for proving an exemption from the French test; several offices close earlier (see the table by country) |
| 18 January to 11 March 2027 | Parcoursup: registration and choices for BTS, preparatory classes and DCG (complete file by 1 April 2027) |
| 12 February 2027 | Last day to take the TCF required for the DAP |
| 30 April 2027 | Universities' decisions on prior admission applications |
| 31 May 2027 | Final choice on the platform; an offer left unanswered is then considered declined |
| Spring and summer 2027 | Visa application, once the procedure is complete (in Senegal, visa appointments from 15 May to 27 August 2027) |
What if your country's deadline has passed?
After the closing date, connected programmes are no longer open for the 2027 intake. Other routes remain, each with its own calendar.
- Parcoursup for BTS, preparatory classes and DCG: choices from 18 January to 11 March 2027, then the “Je suis accepté” procedure on the platform once admitted.
- Non-connected institutions, often private: application to the school, then the “Je suis accepté” procedure (for example from 1 April to 15 July 2027 in Senegal, from 1 May to 31 August 2027 in Gabon, from 15 May to 31 August 2027 in Togo).
Before committing to a private school, Campus France recommends checking that the school and the programme are recognised.
Which countries need particular attention?
As of 23 October 2026, the Campus France offices of Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Madagascar and the Democratic Republic of the Congo had not published their calendar for the 2027 intake. For a first year of licence, 15 December 2026 is only the national DAP deadline: your country's office may close earlier (in Burkina Faso, the previous campaign closed on 1 December). In previous campaigns, most of these offices closed between early December and late January depending on the programme, so it is best to prepare the file now.
Burkina Faso: the French consulate in Ouagadougou is closed. Neighbouring posts accept only certain visa applications, including those of students admitted for the 2026 intake, and nothing has been published yet for the 2027 intake. Check before paying any fees.
Mali (2027 calendar published, see the table): since the visa service of the French consulate general in Bamako was suspended in August 2023, and until it fully reopens, “study” appointment requests go through the consulate, which forwards them to the provider Capago. Applications are still examined and decided by the consulate general in Bamako: allow extra time.
How much is the Campus France application fee?
The application fee is set by each Campus France office. It is usually paid once per campaign, whatever the number of programmes applied for, and is not refunded if you are not admitted or if your visa is refused.
| Country | Application fee |
|---|---|
| Algeria | 20,000 DZD |
| Benin | 70,000 CFA francs |
| Burkina Faso | 70,000 CFA francs (published in October 2025) |
| Cameroon | 85,000 CFA francs, plus 16,000 CFA francs of TLScontact fees (latest published amount) |
| Congo | 75,000 CFA francs |
| Côte d'Ivoire | 80,000 CFA francs (latest published amount) |
| Democratic Republic of the Congo | 100 USD (undated amount) |
| Gabon | 85,000 CFA francs |
| Guinea | 1,500,000 GNF (latest published amount) |
| Lebanon | €320 |
| Madagascar | 425,000 ariary (2025-2026 campaign) |
| Mali | 70,000 CFA francs (published in September 2025) |
| Morocco | 1,900 dirhams |
| Senegal | 85,000 CFA francs |
| Togo | 75,000 CFA francs |
| Tunisia | 400 TND |
Where the 2027 amount was not yet online on 23 October 2026, the table gives the latest published amount, with its date when the page shows one.
In the countries covered by the procedure, the student visa costs €50 instead of €99, plus the fee of the provider that receives the file (for example 27,500 CFA francs at TLScontact in Congo).
